“We were travelling with 2 dogs and from the moment we arrived we were made super welcome. A very helpful and pleasant concierge who dealt efficiently with our luggage and moving our car to the parking. The receptionists were welcoming and helpful, but the icing on the cake had to be the lovely room with its’ own entrance (perfect for dogs) and 2 bowls with brand new toys for the dogs! The room was spacious, clean and the bedding was incredible. We dined with friends in the restaurant, which was perfect from drinks service to dessert to coffee! We will without doubt be back and highly recommend this hotel and the beautiful town of Bury St Edmonds!”

“There are not many hotels whose staff help you to and from you car with luggage these days (unless you are in the big cities). The rooms are really clean, but ours not overly spacious. The food however was excellent. There were five in our party staying at the hotel and couldn't fault the food. One of our party had their dog with them and the hotel were more than accomodating. The staff we encountered were very polite and helpful.”

“The hotel is situated in a prime location in Bury St Edmunds. It’s the perfect place to stay if you intend to visit the cathedral and other historic buildings in Bury. We managed to get our car in the hotel car park well before the earliest available checking in time (3pm). The staff were extremely helpful with this request and made us feel very welcome when we arrived.”
