    We have two excellent restaurants nearby both within a five minute walk: Thai: www.athomethaiayr.co.Uk Japanese: www.ayrhomer.co.Uk Both are extremely good. Check out our restaurant tab on our own site for other options.

    Hi, We have parking on our forecourt on a first come basis. There is also plenty of free and safe parking surrounding the guest house as well. Thankfully parking is not an issue.

    We do not have a bar but we have a guest lounge where you can enjoy your own drinks. We provide glasses, ice and a fridge. Most bars and restaurants are within 5 to 20 minute walk in either direction from the guesthouse, Prestwick or Ayr to enjoy.

    We offer all our guest a FREE early check in from 12 noon using our handy self check in pin code system which we will text to you on your arrival day before or just after 12 noon. Just make sure you have provided a mobile number with your booking.

  • Are you near the Mercedes garage as I’m picking a car up please

    We are under two miles, it is on the outside of town. Closer would be the Western House Hotel but that would be a much more expensive option, or the travel lodge which is probably the closest and cheapest option.

  • What hot food do you offer vegetarians for breakfast?

    Our standard vegetarian breakfast is eggs (poached, fried, scrambled, boiled or omelette), tattie scone, mushrooms, beans and tomato and vegetarian sausage. We also have pancakes and syrup on the menu too. We also do French toast.

  • Hi there, I am interested in your 2 Bedroom Suite. Can you please tell me how many stairs there are up to this?. Also can you please tell me how far you are from the train/bus station?. Many thanks.

    At the top of the guest house and is accessed by Victorian set of stairs with hand railing. A further steep set of stairs to the top floor. I would not recommend if a person has mobility issues. Newton-on-Ayr train station is a five minute walk.

  • Hi - the 2 bedroom suite, is the bathroom within the suite, private, or external in corridor. Regards

    The Arran rooms consists of two rooms: one with a double and single bed, the other a small double and a single with private shower room and is the whole top floor. Not suitable if you have difficulties with stairs or if you have very young children.

    The rooms are not interconnecting. There are two separate locks on each door. Rooms are on a landing. Top floor so not suitable if you have difficulty with stairs, or for families with very young children, as in separate room.

Property info

Beechwood Ensuite Rooms has 8 beautifully refurbished bedrooms offering ensuite facilities. Situated in an ideal position between the popular towns of Ayr and Prestwick and very handy for those travelling into or out of Glasgow Prestwick International Airport. The Beechwood is surrounded by many golf courses, making us a golfer's haven. We are also in walking distance to the award winning town centre of Ayr, which boasts many shops, bars and restaurants. A 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride from right outside the guest house door will take you into the increasingly popular town of Prestwick with its many bars restaurants, cafes and unique little shops. The Beechwood offers you all the luxuries of a hotel but at sensible guest house prices. Nothing is two much trouble, just ask we are always here to help and always happy to assist.
