Seeing that it was in the middle of a takeover and one young lady was efficiently running the hotel she managed brilliantly. On the housekeeping side, nothing was done in the room after the first night - no bins emptied, made our own bed and no coffee/tea refills. That standard was poor but there did not seem to be anyone to oversee the housekeeping. The breakfast was fine and the location excellent. It will be better when the hotel opens fully again.

A good nights sleep, comfy bed, big TV, ear plugs supplied, great shower was extremely good pressure. Excellent breakfast and good location.

The room was excellent and very comfy. Being a front room could be a little noisy on market day but ear plugs are supplied. Staff most welcoming and helpful.

Rooms have great character, great location too ! Lovely women who checked us in . Privacy is respected. Key for access to back door if you go out untill late.

Amazing value for money. In fact prices could definitely be a little higher! Bed so comfy, room was beautiful, breakfast outstanding. Cannot wait to return!

Absolutely fantastic room and exceptional view ! The lady that checked us in was fantastic and full of information. Great and quick check in and privacy was respected. Hotel has character and great value for money .

The room was a little small but perfectly adequate,bed was comfortable and tea and coffee facilities good. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful

The room was extremely large and the bed was comfortable. The location of the Lady Elizabeth was in the very centre of the town. Breakfast wos very good and freshly cooked.
