“A lovely and very posh seeming hotel. The lift is tiny and the hallways narrow, but the rooms are comfortable and the staff lovely. The restaurant and bar are pretty and nice, and in the evenings there's a pianist. The food is excellent. I also had a spa treatment and it was lovely and at a very good price. USB ports next to the bed!”

“Location was good, hotel is a mix of styles with Victorian rooms ( albeit with modern facilities) and a modern looking lounge bar area. Staff exceeded my expectation providing a friendly and helpful stay. Food was definitely above the average standard seen in most hotels, with a good selection of options. Every meal I considered to be the best I have had in much more expensive hotels.”

“The breakfast was excellent. Great choice, hot and regularly refreshed. Eggs, kippers and porridge cooked to order. We had a sea view room and you could lie in bed and watch the waves. The flat screen TV was a great size for the room and had a good selection of channels.”
