Grand, old traditional hotel in the heart of the city and within a few minutes walk of the centre. Good for shops and eating. Rooms are large, contemporary and comfortable, but still retain that charm and elegance of older times without suffering from ancient plumbing, or boxy rooms with paper thin walls. It's a fabulous old building with history and character, a ballroom, conference rooms, and bars. Breakfast wasn't included, which it has been in much cheaper hotels, and is quite expensive at £12 each. I can imagine though for that you'll get a good feeding, but cannot confirm. Why bother when you're so close to lots of eating places who serve breakfast. Send a message out to the hotel and decline from having to pay this.

  • Is there any where that’s free from animals as my partner is allergic to animals or if animals have been in the room

    we only have a selection of dog friendly rooms allocated. Other rooms in hotel dont allow dogs in them. Kind regards Reception team

    We have back racks available to the rear of the hotel and we also have a private area where we can store them overnight. Reception gets extremely busy so if you need direct access the racks to the rear of the hotel would be the best option .

    Breakfast is served between 8-10 am. Breakfast includes cereals, toasts, porridge, granola as well as cooked breakfast. Juice, coffee and tea are also available. Guests are able to book bed and breakfast or room only stays.

  • Heeft u en kamer met laminaat op de vloer of zeil (no carpet) ivm allergie. Als u dat niet heeft weet u misschien een hotel in het centrum die dat wel heeft?
