“If you can imagine an "end terrace" in a long line of Victorian seafront hotels, you'll probably imagine the Hydro! Arrived late off the ferry, staff all friendly and helpful, room (204) had great views over the sea, for the price paid (£40/nt) it was excellent value. Breakfast was good - hot with nice bacon and decent poached eggs. I left very early to catch bus to the airport (stop is literally over the road) and night manager was very helpful when I explained the early departure. Ten minutes walk to the Manx Electric Railway, bus stop outside. Overall, then, better than expected and I'd definitely stay here again.”
