Perfect location; a short stroll into town and yet so peaceful. Lovely garden which must be such a bonus in warmer weather. The house has character. Breakfast was well cooked and nothing was too much trouble. Clean room with comfy beds and pillows. Decent supply of tea and coffee in the room. There wasn't any decaf for night time drink but we didn't asked and I am sure if we had it would have been provided. There was a hairdryer and iron , if you needed it. Staff friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThis was my second stay at the Nyton Guest House, though the first for my wife. My brother came with me on the first visit and also brought his wife. I brought a friend for whom it was her first stay. The breakfast is always superb: the ingredients are excellent and you can tell that every meal is freshly cooked. The staff are very friendly, especially the young man who waited in the dining room. I like the location because it is quiet, yet only just a few minutes walk into Ely city centre.
United KingdomThe location of this hotel was brilliant as we had a wedding at the cathedral, parking is very limited and we parked at the hotel and walk the short to the cathedral. Bed was nice and comfy and room was tidy. Good value compared to the other hotels that our families stayed at.
United KingdomThe breakfast was good, reasonable selection available. my room was okay for a one night stay, it was clean and every thing worked as it should, it wasn't the biggest room I have ever stayed in. The location was very good just a 5 minute walk to the city centre, there is ample free parking at the Nyton which is worth a mention.

Less than 10 minutes’ walk from Ely Cathedral, The Nyton offers well-appointed accommodations alongside a high-quality restaurant. There is free parking and Wi-Fi at this guest house, which is 30 minutes’ drive north of Cambridge.

The Garden Restaurant serves traditional English food made using fresh, local produce, along with an extensive wine list. Drinks can be enjoyed in the oak-paneled bar which overlooks the gardens.
As well as the cathedral, local historic attractions include Oliver Cromwell’s House and the Ely Museum, both within 10 minutes’ walk. Bury St Edmunds, Peterborough and King’s Lynn are all within 35-45 minutes’ drive.
