    Why leave your dog behind in a kennels when they can experience your amazing break with you? Many bed and breakfasts in the Lake District specifically exclude dogs and pets of all sorts from their premises. However, we welcome all well-behaved dogs and pets to enjoy a holiday with their owners at Riverside Hotel. The hotel is conveniently placed only a stone’s throw from Kendal’s Gooseholme Park providing an ideal ‘convenience' for your four legged friends. So don’t leave your pet behind! For a cost of £10 per night, your dog can experience your fantastic holiday too, making it a real family holiday. Dogs are welcome in all areas of the hotel with the exception of the Restaurant and Leisure Club. Not only do we provide you with an amazing stay, but we go out of our way for your pets too. When it comes to dog friendly hotels in the Lake District, nobody does it better than Riverside Hotel. We hope to see you and your furry friend too!

  • Do you have rooms for disabled guests

    The bedrooms are situated on four floors within the hotel and are all serviced by a lift. We have one disabled room situated on the ground floor which is accessible by using the chair lift down the five stairs to the lower ground floor.
