“We opted for the King Suite and it was absolutely gorgeous. The bed was so comfy, the room was really clean and beautifully decorated. The hotel has a great character. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and very 'Covid-safe'. We ate in the bar for our evening meal - my other half had the steak of the day and said it was one of the best steaks he'd ever had! The breakfast was superb too, a really good selection on offer. Great location too - views of the castle opposite and just off the main street in Warkworth.”

“The staff were very friendly and tried their best to make the Covid secure restrictions work. The breakfast was lovely and our rooms were clean and comfortable. We all had a view of the castle, which was lovely. It is a great spot, being in a lovely little town, with river walks very close and the beautiful unspoilt sand dunes and sea a half hour walk away.”

“Breakfast well presented and tasted good. Only 1 egg when menu said eggs. Waitress v pleasant and helpful tho looked bit anxious. Couldn’t get supper - on web site said served dinner til 9.00 but was told was only til 8.00 pm - however when we appeared at restaurant at 7.50 pm told chef gone. Tried all over the place locally by car and didn’t get supper anywhere - not even many takeaways open. Suggest organise supper arrangements early.”
