Friendly, helpful hosts who left a lovely welcome basket. Great, characterful property- once a blacksmith’s forge. Beautiful white peacocks visited for breakfast. Really well situated for tourist attractions in area.

This is the second time we've stayed at Thimble Cottage and as usual, the welcome basket was lovely, it was very cosy, we had everything we needed for staying in and cooking and we loved the peacocks and grouse that gathered on the patio.
