Beverely is a lovely market town with a beautiful Minster right in the centre. It has lots of good pubs and restaurants especially Piccolino’s Italian a bit difficult to find as it sits in a car park but it is right in the town centre

The Minster was lovely.
The Minster was lovely. Visited this 23.09.23, there was people selling second hand goods/ clothes. Alot of people who live in Beverley was dressed up in 1940s attire, so lovely to see. Not sure how often this is. Central 42 does a lovely breakfast. There is also a whetherspoons the Cross Keys, quite nice, but there are plenty of nice pubs, restaurants, cafes.

I have visited Beverley a few times now, and this will be more regular over next few years as my parents have transitioned here - you will never be bored in Beverley. I believe there are 36 pubs in Beverley - I went to three, all very different in character and history. The Minster and St Mary’s church are gorgeous and often have exhibitions on, there is always something on in the town. I didn’t have time to do the walking tour of Beverley but saw several groups who all seemed to be enjoying learning the history. There is the Beverley Beck, worth the 5km, or so, walk around - a hidden gem. I will stay longer next time!

we've been to beverly lots of times but this was our first stay. beverly is a lovely town and the minster is beautiful and amazingly still free to enter unlike most cathedrals and minsters these days. there are osme lovely old buildings and pubs and plenty of nice shops if thats your thing. it's flat too which is good if you have walking problems. there are lots of nice restaurants and cafes and a good selection of vegi ones too because both being vegi sometimes we struggle to find somewhere nice .also if you ask for a parking permit from the owners of your cottage there are numerous places to park for free. we also ordered a delicious vegi set meal for2 for £20:95 which was so big we had it the next day aswell from the ladygate tandoori. it said 45min delivery but only took 15.you could order and pay for it on-line too. all in all a lovely place to stay. we highly recommend beverly.

Lovely town, and would have been even lovelier had it not...
Lovely town, and would have been even lovelier had it not been for the relentless rain. Minster well worth visiting - I was there for a singing weekend, although it was disappointing to be singing in the chancel rather than in the full majesty of the Minster. For those who enjoy shopping, there is a very good range of independent and chain shops, including Lakeland, Oliver Bonas, JoJo Maman BeBe, and numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. A number of self-guided town walks will showcase the medieval past of the town. These are all pretty short and easy to follow. For those who like exercise, the Westwood, on the northern side of the town, is a large green space with the golf course and racecourse quite close, and a parkrun through a field of cows on Saturday mornings. So something for everyone.

Great spot, well worth a visit.
Great spot, well worth a visit. A town not tainted by the cliched “tourist” attractions(?) of nearby options. Found a couple of great pubs (Queen’s Head a beauty) to mix with locals whilst selecting our next stop.
Location next to beverley minster is perfect and central to all amenities and town centre , and the street is very peaceful and the Minster bells didnt bother us at all.
I like the old English charm of the place too and its warm coziness. Parking was rarely a problem right outside the house and the visitors permit organised by the owner was reasonably priced . Overall we had a happy comfortable stay .
The house was spotless, all furniture and beds were good quality and very comfortable. The Host kept in touch up to the date of our arrival, check in could not have been easier. There were some nice things left in the fridge for us, these were greatly appreciated. The location was just a five minute walk from the center of town, with our own off street parking, which in Beverley is a real bonus.
Having stayed in Beverley many times over the years visiting family, This was a great find. One of the best places we have stayed. Will definitely book again. The owner Alan was absolutely great, as we were held up in traffic and didn't arrive until 2 hours later than expected on a Friday night. He communicated well, and met us at the property to show us round and hand over the keys.
Excellent, very good standard of apartment that had been recently modernised. The cooking facilities were great. Very comfortable. Convenient for town centre, marketplace, shops and restaurants. Parking was free: this is a plus in Beverley. It was also very quiet. I stayed there in November and can report that the heating worked well.
Great find. I have friends in Beverley and am often there. Alices house is a lovely little place that is so much more preferable than a hotel. Modern, bright and a short walk into the centre. Easy parking and my stay was lovely and quiet. Alice obviously has thought of everything you need and would highly recommend.
After checking the other reviews we were concerned that this hotel would not be what we wanted but we were pleasantly surprised. The location was excellent, the communication was great, free parking too and if you just want a basic room with a comfy bed, tea n coffee facilities this hotel is ideal.
The cottage was beautiful! Very clean, everything worked with no issues. Welcome book had lots of information about activities in the area.
Short walk from Beverley Town centre.
Host replied quickly and was super friendly!
Will definitely be rebooking on my next trip to the area.
There is nothing that we did not like like about this Hotel.
The staff are all friendly, the food is superb, the room was clean and spacious and the location really handy for just stepping out and exploring the wonderful town of Beverley.
Very boutique style quirky hotel, decorated with Eastern flavoured picture paintings. Very clean, great location to town centre. Situated right next to Minster stunning building.
Best hotel by far in area , excellent service rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean Had afternoon tea which was great ,would definitely recommend
Absolutely spotless facilities in the heart of Beverley. Well located for the town and easy to walk to the races. Luxury accommodation of the highest spec.
