Our room at Thurnham was amazing. Very high standard, the bathrooms and kitchen were particularly beautiful. En suite included which I wasn't expecting was a lovely bonus. Very peaceful, the children actually slept really well which is a change when we are in a unusual place. Lovely swimming pool, although expensive. £5 per person per day, we ended up going to the local leisure centre which only cost £12.50 instead of £20, but you do get to use the pool on site for 24hours with that price which is good if you wanted to use it twice in one day. The little park was a nice addition and the ducks to run after! Overall we loved our stay. unfortunately the weather was awful so we couldn't explore much.

We only required an overnight stay en-route to Scotland and the room we had was ideal. Very comfortable with good facilities (a nice kitchen which would have been ideal for longer stays). The location was very peaceful in a lovely parkland setting yet close to towns like Lancaster and Morecambe.

  • Hi as there is no refund available is this transferable and is this a chalet room on in the main house.

    You will need to reach the company you made the reservation with directly in regards to if your reservation can be changed. If you made the reservation with a third party then you will need to reach out to them directly for assistance.

    We don’t do a complimentary kitchen pack as such, we do however provide a certain amount of complimentary tea, coffee and sugar which will be in the apartment on arrival.

  • I am arriving on the 15.04.21. Is the pool/gym open. Is the restaurant open for takeaways,finally what time can I check in?

    Please note that check in is from 4pm. The leisure facilities will be open but guests will be required to book time slots. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed due to Covid19 restrictions, however, there may be a cold takeaway menu on offer.

    yes: The Mill at Conder Green (Thurnham Mill) on the way in to Lancaster by The old Stork, alternatively the Dalton Arms. In addition, there is a nice local pub called The Manor Inn towards the M6 motorway in Cockerham.
