“I stayed in the Morris Cottage to the side of the main hotel, these are dog friendly and have some enclosed outdoor space, ideal for my four legged friend! The Hotel staff were very welcoming, very comfortable stay. A small but lovely bonus was the water supply was good pressure and the hot water was hot, a small comfort I know but having stayed in two other B&Bs recently with dribbling cold showers this was really appreciated !”

“We had our wedding reception in the garden room. It was set up beautifully. The food was amazing. Staff polite and friendly and ensured we had the best day. The owner came to meet us and asked how our day had been - a lovely touch. Hotel is decorated lovely and has lovely gardens. We stayed in The Dearing Suite - the bed was so comfy. My daughter stayed in a double and it was a lovely room too. I’m so pleased we chose Tickton Grange for our wedding reception - it was perfect.”

“Stayed in small double room as this was all that was available.It was clean and has everything you’d require in the room, kettle, tea/coffee/green tea/hot chocolate:), ironing board/iron, toiletries and hair dryer as well as tv.”

“Had the scrambled eggs with salmon, it was very nice. The room was very nice and very clean. The shower was amazing, had a couple of beers in the bar, also excellent. Staff very friendly, orange juice at breakfast was freshly squeezed. I stayed here for work but I wouldn’t hesitate to bring the wife or recommend it to anyone. The bathroom was superb. I had the small double it was a lovely room albeit small.”
