This beautiful accommodation faces the beach and is an easy walk into Mumbles for shops, cafés and restaurants. Metin & Eleanor are exceptional hosts and really have thought of everything (so nice to have a fridge in the room and access to fresh milk). Everywhere is beautifully decorated and incredibly clean...shower room was especially good. Breakfast was excellent and so well organised,...could not have been better!!

Overlooking the Swansea Bay promenade and Mumbles Head, this B&B offers elegantly furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi. Built in 1855, Tides Reach features a sea-facing breakfast room with individual tables.

This property has been awarded Elegant Guest House of the Year or the UK - The Travel and Hospitality Awards, as well as Recognition of Excellence by Hotels Combined UK rated 10/10 by guests for 2018.

The breakfast includes fresh fruit, a range of yogurts, pastries, cereals and individually cooked items to order. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diets are also catered for. All produce is locally sourced and homemade where possible.

Large windows, high ceilings and stylish furniture are standard in all Tides Reach rooms. Each room has a flat-screen TV with DVD player and a hospitality tray.

    Between May and Sept but cannot guarantee good weather - however some areas are better with bigger waves in cloudy weather

    We provide you a free parking. It will be very easy to park regardless of which day of the week. Further information will be given once you make a reservation.

This is a character property with high ceilings and the guest breakfast room and two main bedrooms have unobstructed sea views. We furnish mainly with antiques and character items...and individual furnishings. We source our food locally and have an interest and growing knowledge of the area. All of our rooms are warm and comfortable, are ensuite and include breakfasts. The more expensive rooms have larger ensuites or sea views etc but all of our rooms are the same quality with down duvets and soft towels. We took over the business in August 2021 from the previous owners. Our desire and intention is to maintain and improve upon the exceptional standard of accommodation and meals within an exquisite environment.
Metin & Eleanor are both passionate about hospitality and nothing pleases them more than a guest who has had a relaxing break and leaves satisfied with their holiday experience.
This is a quiet neighbourhood...a short flat walk away from the shops and some very lovely restaurants. We face the sea and promenade and although there is a road in front this gives ease of access and of course we are on a bus route. We are lucky enough to have an arrangement with the Norton House Hotel for your car parking. This is a one minute walk away. Why not visit them for a drink in their gorgeous bar or enjoy a meal in their lovely restaurant.
