The bathroom is wonderful. It has a large vanity, glass shower with two shower heads and a spacious tub! The bedroom has a very comfy bed. Water, kettle, coffee and tea are provided in suite. Luxurious bath towels and robes are also included. This beautifully renovated 17th century cottage has been modernized, and we just loved it. Adrian and Tina, our host, were most friendly and helpful. They set a beautiful table and provide a delicious breakfast each day. Adrian's communication with us was stellar!

The cottage is warm and comfortable and it has been renovated to the highest standards and the whole cottage is spotlessly clean throughout. The bedroom is bigger than average and it has a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom has an ultra modern look and is equipped with a very impressive walk in shower and a separate bath. The owners of the cottage are delighted and every whim is catered for and I would gladly stop there again ... highly recommend by me

The Bedroom is finished to a high standard and is perfect as a guest room - bright, clean, relaxing and quiet. The kingsize double bed is seriously comfortable and you can stream from there to the HD screen from your phone or PC. The Bathroom has a sparkly wow factor to it, with a luxurious bath and dual shower heads to start or end the day. The Old English sitting room has a large sofa, antique reading chair and long case clock. We light the open fire as required which makes for a cosy evening in front of the TV, or a book. The open plan kitchen/dining room and mezzanine are all sited below a high vaulted ceiling which brings a wonderful interplay of light to this inspiring space.
Hosts Tina and Adrian are laid back and keep a cozy and relaxed home, where our guests/couples will naturally be made welcome. We enjoy international travel, meeting new people and chatting over common interests. We're usually busy with three vintage cars, home cooking, gardening, renovation, DIY, fitness and cycling and we both have a keen interest in current affairs : )
As well as Chippenham Town Center, there are restaurants, shopping, pubs, parks, historic sites, ancient churches, the river, the canal, cycle beautiful routes, vintage car museums, luxury retreats, gyms, sports centers, market towns and lots of lovely walks, all of which are easily accessible from our cozy Cottage - all of which we enjoy so whatever you fancy doing we can help if you ask! By Car it's just 10 minutes from the M4 [London-Cardiff] Walking, we are: 2 minutes from the bus stop [servicing Chippenham, Calne, Royal Wooton Basset and Swindon], 14 minutes from the railway station [servicing Bath(15min), Bristol(30min), Cardiff/South Wales) & Swindon(15min)/Newbury/Reading/London(60min) ] 10 minutes from Chippenham town center where both MegaBus and National Express stop, 10 minutes from the Olympiad sports center, 5 minutes from two different river aspects, 9-hole golf, park, dog-walks and 20 minutes from the canal. We have Landranger and Pathfinder OS maps in the guest bedroom.
