For us this was perfection, as well as the distant view of Ben Nevis and the forests in the middle ground, Bruce’s large and immaculately presented gardens highlight the near ground. Our lovely twin room with large picture window was very comfortable and has an en-suite bath with shower. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. The property is 15 minutes drive from town which suited us very well.

Nestled within 3 acres of gardens and woodland, Torbeag House features magnificent views of Ben Nevis and the Great Glen. With free WiFi and free onsite parking, the property is just 5 miles from Fort William and a 5-minute walk from the Caledonian Canal.

  • Hi there, I see youre only room left on the days i'd like to book for is the twin room. Would it be possible for you to push bed's together to make it a double if we request it?

    Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. The beds in the twin room are single beds. They could be pushed together, but to be clear they will not be the same as a double bed.

  • Hi, we loved the look of your hotel but we're wondering if it would be possible for you to serve breakfast in the room as we don't feel comfortable eating in the same room as others given the current situation? Thanks!

    Sorry room service is not available. Breakfast times are managed. We will be happy to offer you a take away continental breakfast as an alternative.

Torbeag House is a family home offering Bed and Breakfast in 2 letting rooms. The superior rooms are spacious and well appointed. Guests can enjoy the tranquility in one of the most picturesque places in Scotland. Torbeag House nestles in approximately 2 acres of grounds with magnificent views of Ben Nevis and the Great Glen. Relax in the guests’ lounge, enjoy the views, bird watch or read one of the many books and maps of the area. Ideal base for visiting the Isle of Skye, Glen Coe, Loch Ness, the Jacobite steam railway, wildlife excursions and of course, Ben Nevis! The Caledonian Canal and Great Glen Way is a 5 minute walk. We strongly recommend that our guests have access to a car whilst staying with us as the closest public transport (bus or train) is some 2 miles away. Closest restaurants only a 5 minute drive. Ample off-road parking, secure bike storage. WiFi access. Please note that Sat. Nav. will not bring you to the door as the post code is shared by a number of properties in the area. We will send you travel directions with your booking confirmation.

Torbeag House is in a rural setting, though easily accessed by car. Restaurants are only a 5 minute drive. The centre of Fort William is less than 15 minutes drive. Please note there is no public transport within 2 miles of Torbeag House. Fort William is the Outdoor Capital of the UK and hosts the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, Mountain Film Festival, Jacobite Steam Train, Caledonian Canal, Neptunes Staircase, Glenfinnan Monument, The Nevis Range Gondola, Isle of Skye, Commando Memorial, Clan Cameron Museum and many other activities and places to visit. Approximate drive times: Nearest shop and ATM 5 minutes; Fort William 15 minutes; Inverness 90 minutes; Oban 60 minutes; Glenfinnan monument and train viaduct 20 minutes; Mallaig/Isle of Skye ferry 45 minutes; Aviemore 70 minutes.
