Simple, clean and comfortable room. The host, Claire, was wonderful - great communication and she went out of her way to help me out during my stay (providing advice on local activities, storing bags, drying some wet clothes). Breakfast was excellent.

Definitely need a car to get around this area. Not quite the luxury I was looking for. Accomodation and breakfast where I stayed was fairly basic. Quite limited in eating out options too. Managed to walk the Pen y Fan which was the highlight of my stay here.RhondaAustralia - 10Scored 10

Nice town with some lovely places to go for a drink and a bite to eat. Friendly bar with live music at the weekend. Also there is a Wetherspoon. The Zip World was only a 30 min drive away and is fantastic. Great scenery and walks near by.

Only stayed 2 days and then was at an event so not enough time to explore. However on an evening plenty of places to eat and drink. Tesco Extra and range of other shops incl. Saturday street market. Liked the fact it has good public transport links to the Brecon Beacons the town itself looks a bit run down in places like many these days but had everything we needed with lots of things to do nearby. We enjoyed climbing Corn Du, Pen Y Fan, visiting Lyn Cwm Llwch, walking along parts of the Taff Trail, visiting The Brecon Mountain Railway, Cyfarthfa Castle and park as well as things further a field.clare - 8.0Scored 8.0

Great places to visit. We where only there for two nights. We enjoyed the waterfalls and the steam train ride. There are plenty of places to eat out. We saw lots of cyclists whilst traveling in our car. Found the area very dog friendly which suited us .Allison - 8.0Scored 8.0

Visited the nearby reservoir and Garwnant Visitors Centre -lovely trails and views. Also the Brecon Beacons were within easy reach. We ate at Nant Ddu the first night and shared 3 tasty side dishes between us. Not too far from 3 near locations where my Dad was born and lived in Penwhriceiber, Cefn Pennar and Mountain Ash. We traveled around this beautiful part of the world - the scenery is simply glorious. There is plenty of parking for up to three cars which helps if you are a larger group or family. The garden is really well maintained and the view from the garden is lovely. The property is well laid out with an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. There is also a separate lounge for those wanting to relax.

Outstanding accommodation and service from Mark, who met us to hand over the keys and show us around the flat. We arrived late and he provided advice on where to eat and called ahead to one place which was very kind of him. The washer and dryer are excellent, the apartment is spacious and clean, there is off street parking and the location is bang in town. 5 stars!

Not walking distance but taxi was only about £6. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The room was great with nice views across the valley. Everything was clean and comfortable. It is a little dated with squeaky floors and thin walls but wouldn't detract me from coming again.
