“The smoked salmon and scrambled egg was excellent but would have liked fresh fruits and natural yogurt to have been on offer. We particularly liked the port in our room. Excellent location for country walks and access to the town. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.”

Owners were so friendly and welcoming, even letting me use the dining room in the day to do some work as wifi was better there and I needed to do some video calls. Extra bonus is there is a fast EV charger just next door, great for quick charging our electric car.”

We had the junior suite which was like our own small country cottage without the kitchen - we were just expecting a room. We loved snuggling in the arm chairs after a long walk. It was so quiet, we both slept incredibly well. The breakfast was delicious and the right quantity. Both the full english and the scrambled eggs with salmon were beautifully prepared. The location is great - right in the heart of Dulverton and close to walks along the river and in Burridge Woods. Everything is simple, understated but to very high standards.”
