Flaunting a fine granite exterior, this stunning, large country house is set in a village position close to Cornwall's North shore (10mins to Watergate Bay / 15mins to Padstow). You’ll love the Victorian country house grandeur, beautiful outdoors spaces, comfy beds, wood-panelled games room and general peaceful ambiance. Original period features abound, whilst an eclectic mix of vintage and modern pieces make staying here a truly unique experience. The space This is a fantastic holiday house in which to spread out, relax and unwind. On your doorstep are local pubs, popular cafe/deli, excellent butcher and a fully stocked local supermarket (Fever Tree, halloumi, pastries and the weekend papers at your finger tips!). Take a short drive down a country lane to one of the North coast's stunning beaches or just relax in the self-enclosed gardens; whatever the mood, you're covered. At the end of a fun filled day unwind in the glass panelled loggia, opposite the giant magnolia tree, with a well earned gin & tonic or indeed dine al fresco (bbq is provided). The house makes for a wonderful family gathering. Summer surfing on your doorstep and bbq's in the garden or a magical winter setting, with christmas trees and plenty of chimneys for father christmas to climb down! Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome. Our check in days are saturdays for a 7 night minimum stay. N.B. This is a family house and unfortunately not suitable for stag or hen parties. My wife and I are both actors and musicians and proud parents to two children. We moved to Cornwall form London in 2013. We love movies, music, travelling and of course are passionate about all things Cornish. The incredible beaches, stunning clifftop walks, jaw-dropping skies and all the year round activities on offer here, make it a truly inspiring place to be. We all surf, our kids ride horses on the beach, we love the nearby Camel trail for cycling and the variety of beach-side cafes for refreshments. Our beautiful family home sits in a haven of nearly 2 acres of garden and yet is near to the North coast action (Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth and Bedruthan Steps are each about 10 mins down a lane). We will leave you alone to enjoy your stay. Though we'll be nearby in our seperate holiday home should any issue arise that you need help with.

St Columb is an old market town (though it feels like a small village). The excellent Town and Country cafe is around the corner, as are various amenities Pubs, mini supermarket, butchers, post office and our new amazing bakery "The Butchers Bakehouse" serving insanely good artisan cakes, breads and sandwiches and a couple of vintage shops.Or you could always get a tattoo done by Johnny Silver!! There's also really good fish and chips that people queue for. the best way to get around is by car to explore the Cornish Coast
