“We stayed for four nights, family of four (including two teenagers). Great base to get to the beach, Galloway Forest and Dumfries. Jenny was a brilliant host and phoned us before our stay to organise collecting the keys. Absolutely excellent place to stay with easy parking, spacious accommodation, excellent shops to pick up groceries and 2 min walk into the forest, Everything you could think of was provided in the kitchen including a breville toaster and mixer! The water was not working for a couple of hours one day ( not the fault of the accommodation or host) but Jenny got us some bottled water so we wouldn't go without which was fantastic of her. There is a few restaurants in Dalbeattie and a take away which were fine. We hope to return soon explore more.”
