I have lived in the Midford Valley near Bath for 45 years in Tucking Mill Manor. I find that the location, wildlife and environment is unsurpassable. You must really come and see it for yourself! My team and I run this small holiday business from our own home just outside Bath We own all the properties we let and that includes 3 cottages at Tucking Mill 12 mins Bath city centre and 2 luxury apartments in the city itself. We converted all the properties over the last 2-3 years to the standard that we enjoy when we are away. As a self catering operation, our strategy is to ensure our guests have as seamless communication as possible and only need to contact us if there is a problem.. We work hard to constantly upgrade our properties to ensure the Gold Standard is maintained and as close to home from home as possible.

Tucking Mill View is immediately opposite the house occupied by William Smith,the famous English Geologist who mapped the whole of the UK. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage is just a minute's walk from the West of England Falconry, where you can enjoy hawk walks, and is just a short walk from the Two Tunnels and Sustrans Route 24 - so it's a must-visit destination for walkers and cyclists. Fly-fishing enthusiasts will also love the private stretch of the Midford Brook, where guests of our cottages receive exclusive fishing rights. Two superb country pubs offering lunch and dinner are just a ten minute walk away, and an award winning deli is just a little further up the hill. Free parking is available for up to 2 cars on a private driveway directly outside of the property, making it easy to get back and forth to Bath city centre, which is just a 12 minute drive away. We also have a deal with the local taxi company, and buses run regularly to Combe Down, which is about a 15 minute walk. Outdoor activities like boating on the canal and riding at Wellow are also no further than 2 miles from the cottage, so there's plenty to see and do!
