We wouldn't book anywhere else and have came here for a few years now. Highly recommend this for a short or long stay. They have room availability to suit everyone. Jackie makes you so welcome and you feel at ease staying here. Rooms are a good size and modern and very clean and comfortable.

Turas-Mara is a beautifully maintained, family-run guest house offering good food and free Wi-Fi. Both Ayr town center and Ayr Rail Station are less than half a mile away.

There are 4 golf courses within a 3 miles radius of the property, including Belleisle, Dalmilling, Prestwick and Prestwick Saint Nicholas Golf Clubs and bespoke golf packages can be arranged.

Turas-Mara is totally nonsmoking. All the bedrooms have a TV with digital Freeview, and facilities for making tea and coffee.

There is private parking at the rear. At the front there is a well-tended garden which is overlooked by the dining room. For guests leaving before 07:00 a takeaway picnic breakfast is available.

Turas-Mara is a beautifully maintained Guest House offering comfortable rooms, good food and free parking. All rooms have complimentary WiFi, ensuites and many other extras included to help you enjoy your stay. Where possible we use local produce and homemade products. We are within easy walking distance of the railway station, shops and all the town facilities. An ideal place to relax and enjoy all the surrounding area has to offer. So why not give us a try.

We like meeting people and providing our guests with comfortable well maintained accommodation. A place to kick of your shoes, put your feet up, relax and feel at home. We are always available to assist in any way we can to help you fully enjoy your stay. We like walking, doing puzzles, watching sport and babysitting our grandchildren real action people. Billy goes to the gym and I am always saying I will. Maybe one day but i think i would rather try golf again..

Turas-Mara is less than a 5 minute walk from Ayr Railway Station. Also only a 5 minute walk from a variety of restaurants recommended by previous guests and the Town Centre. There is 10 pin bowling, indoor and outdoor play areas and seafront all within 10 minutes. All our rooms have DVD players and we have some DVDs you can borrow if you forget to bring your own. There is an award winning Farm Park 10 minutes drive. Culzean Castle and Dumfries House are 20 minutes drive. We are situated in the heart of Burns Country. Golfers will be spoiled for choice with the vast number of courses on our doorstep including 2 Open venues. There is horse racing throughout the year. Scottish Bowls in July, Ayr Flower Show in August and the Air Show in September.
