“This review is actually for the Edgbaston Park Hotel (opposite the Lucas House and also I believe owned by the University). We needed to be close to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where our son was undergoing a procedure and were transferred when Lucas House was closed due to Coronavirus. I advised the hotel that, as Orthodox Jews, we preferred not to use a lift or electronic keys over Shabbat and they could not have been more helpful. Our room in the hotel annex had stair and regular key access. Room was clean, furnishings were lovely and the bathroom was fantastic. The Duty Manager even personally took us to our room to check that all was well.”
