We had a very pleasant stay at Walcot House. A very friendly (with social distancing observed!) greeting from Rob before we got settled in our room. It was perfect for our needs: large double bed for us, a single snuggled into an alcove for our 3 year old (very handy as we weren’t worried about her falling out!) and room to set up our travel cot for our one year old (one was offered but we brought our own). Breakfast was delicious and it was really thoughtful that the high chair had already been set out for us. Would definitely recommend!

Just outside the New Forest National Park, the family-run Walcot House offers stylish bed and breakfast accommodations around 2 miles from the Hampshire coast. With a 4-star rating from Visit England, this guest house has free parking and Wi-Fi, and is 25 minutes’ drive from Southampton and Lymington.

  • Hi I have made a reservation for next year in your deluxe room, I have just notice that it says the room only offers a private bathroom ? Is there no tv, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, etc in this room ?

  • Dear host. We are family of four looking for place to stay close to New Forest Park. We would like to stay few days after 12th of April. I could not find on "Booking" if your property qualify as serf contained? Can we book it after 12th of April? Kind regards, Lukas
