This is the most perfect homely place in the Peak we have ever stayed at. Lovely triple room huge !! So much thought has gone into making stay comfortable you feel as if you've been invited to someone's house and they have gone extra mile!

This is a lovely building right on the main road (although it's nice & quiet) and very convenient for touring the Peaks. It's really close to the main highlights of the area (Kinder Scout, Edale, Mam Tor, etc), so these are very easy to access. Great hospitality from the hosts & would certainly stay here again.

A wonderful host, Carol who was very friendly and pleasant. Room was great - extremely comfy beds, lots of pillows; lovely touches like the little teapot/cups, fresh milk offered for drinks. Blackout linings in the curtains which was great. We were also able to leave the cars in the car park for our last morning after we checked out, which was really kind and helpful. Location was fabulous, right on the Sett Valley Trail and 10 mins walk into Hayfield. Can walk straight up Kinder Scout too so no need to find parking which was useful.

Carol is an amazing and super friendly host. We were in 4 driving up from London an were stuck in traffic getting there on a Friday and she showed a lot of flexibility with check in and waited for us. Very nice! The b&b is super cosy and in a perfect location to explore and do different hikes and only 15 minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Everything was perfect, we will come back:)

The Waltzing Weasel Bed and Breakfast is situated in a great position for walking on the sett-valley-trail or climbing Kinder Scout or Lantern Pike. Surrounded by lovely countryside (sheep in the field next door) it is great for exploring local villages; Hayfield, New Mills, Lyme Park, Glossop, Stockport, Manchester etc. We have lots of great restaurants within a short distance so you are not short of somewhere to go for your evening meal.
