the hotel closed for the Queen’s funeral which was alarming as we were walking Hadrian’s Wall with no alternative but then graciously offered alternative accommodation in the very well equipped self catering Stables which ultimately was a significant upgrade on their part at no extra cost. Rachel the owner really showed her caring side as a host by personally driving us the half mile to the Stables when we arrived to a closed hotel (see below)

United KingdomWe were looking for a place to spend a few days away from the city and in the country side before we head home and after searching for a while we came across Walwick hall, it delivered exactly what we were looking for and more, the hotel is in a calm and quiet area surronded by lovely scenery, the room was perfect in size and and design, the breakfast was great as well as the food options in the restaurant and last but not least all the staff without exception were wonderful during our stay, this place ticked all the boxes!
