United States of AmericaThe country inn is located in lower Slaughter which is in a very quiet part of the Cotswolds. We loved this location and I would stay here again. It was the perfect launching point for our two day exploration of that area. We utilized the public footpaths and enjoyed our walk to Burton on the Water and the surrounding areas. If you are looking to be immersed into the English Countryside this is the place for you. Breakfast was good. We had dinner there one night too and that was good to. I would say that if you stay here you need a car. The property was great and very nicely maintained and the staff was very helpful and kind.
