Waterford Lodge Hotel is located on the River Wansbeck, close to the center of Morpeth, and with good transport links to Newcastle. This refurbished 18th-century coaching inn features The Steakhouse restaurant on site, and offers mixed grills, burgers and steak ( only open til 17:00 on Sundays).

The Waterford has a convenient location, close to the heart of the historic market town of Morpeth and just a few hundred yards from Morpeth Railway Station. Trains run regularly from the station to Newcastle, London and Edinburgh. The historic, award-winning Carlisle Park is next to the hotel.

There is a private off-street car park with plenty of free parking available for guests. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

  • On your site dogs are allowed at no extra cost but when the question is asked you charge for dogs ? Will we be charged? thank you

    Yes there is a charge for dogs - £15 per night for the first dog, and then £5 per night for any additional dogs. There is not an option to add on the dog on booking.com so if you notify us when you book in and we can add the charge on our system.
