The staff are so helpful. It’s easy to get to - perfect for Harry Potter world. There seemed to be a few other attractions near by too.
The pool and gym were a little shabby but the kids loved it and it was a great way to tire them out.
The breakfast was great and at the other end of the day the bar was comfy, inviting and well stocked.

I thought this place was perfect for us. We met our grandchildren there and they loved the pool.
The evening menu was great for adults, unfortunately the children didn’t like anything but that’s not saying it was good. Picky eaters!

The accommodation was a very high standard and the host were very helpful. We needed to check in early to attend a family function and the hosts were more than willing for us to do so.Everthing was made easy for us and although the host was available to us we were given privacy .The only problem we encountered was the m25 which had lane closures but we soon overcame that

The staff were lovely. Really helpful.
The staff were lovely. Really helpful. Put surprise birthday card and sweets in the room foe my son, which he loved. The room was tiny. Just enough space to walk between the double bed and the sofa bed. Bothe mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was basic and not much choice. We got there at around 9 and some stuff had run out and without asking wouldn't of been refilled.

We can’t really comment on Hemel Hempstead itself as we were there to catch up with relatives and only had two days and the weather was dreadful so we didn’t get to see much! But the people we met were friendly and helpful

It was clean and the in room amenities were good, shower pressure was disappointing, pull out bed had 2 duvets on top of the mattress but it was still uncomfortable, main bed was ok for 1 night- spare room level of comfort, not main room or luxury like the "purple" hotels. Breakfast choices were good and the option to take away was good too. There is the option for an evening meal even though the website says there isn't, but the Fullers right next door is a better option.

Boxmoor Lodge, set back off a main road, is a great place to stay when visiting Hemel. Its superb location (walking distance to the railway station) and close to the town centre, with plenty of parking, are real pluses. This is the ideal place if you wish to avoid the hustle and bustle of corporate hotels in the area. The hotel contains good sized, clean rooms and a lovely breakfast area. Plenty of choices for breakfast - the fried breakfasts were very good. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Ideally located for trip to central london or Warner bros studio. Plenty of parking. Comfortable clean and cost efficient stay. Lovely weekend with family - we were a party of 6 , 3 kids and 1 elderly granny. We took taxi to central london and Studio was 10-15 minutes drive from hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Same for the adjacent pub with scenic view- very friendly helpful staff.
this was just a one night stay for us and it was fine for that.and was located just off a round about and convenient to the highway. We opted to eat dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Dinner service was slow and the food was mediocre . breakfast was better with a good coffee machine. the bathroom was spotless and looked recently remodeled.
I like the thought they put into equipping and decorating the place. It gave a homely feel, was very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfy for me. Even though it is located right in the centre of Hemel Hempstead I had a very good sleep. Much better sleep than in any hotel really. So all was really good..
Beautiful, freshly renovated space. The host was kind enough to let us check in quite late and set up the sofa bed ahead of time. The sofa bed also had a cushioned extra topper which was nice. Very comfortable flat, quite a good deal compared to other rentals and hotels in the area.
Great location in the beautiful Hemel Hempstead. The room was small but very pretty and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was outstanding, high quality ingredients and the lady taking orders and serving drinks was wonderful, definitely a credit to the hotel.
The hotel is located across from a pretty canal and marina area with restaurants, bars and a pub. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great with quite a lot of choice and it's great value for money
We absolutely loved the grounds and gardens the hotel had around the property! It was so beautiful and peaceful to spend a kid free parent get away. The golf course is so wonderful and really great prices.
Beautiful hotel, lovely grounds. Great dining area. Excellent breakfast with very good choices. Evening meal and bar was great. Rooms were very spacious with lovely comfortable beds.
One of the nicest place we have stayed during our 3 weeks Europe trip. Compare to many other hotel/apt we stayed, Adobebed at Handleys Court is one of the best accommodation.
The property was very clean and airy. The balcony was a nice touch. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around the area and the apartment was very comfortable.
Treated very well and hosts where superb. we will using this hotel again as we have future work in the area and it has proven to be excellent value for money.
The rooms were a nice size. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The area was quiet and nice. Everything was well stocked with clean dishes and towels.
