The room is not children friendly. It is untidy and the bin is rusty and filled with rotten dirt. The walls have mould and its peeling and the bed sheets are so dirty. The TV remote had no batteries and I couldn't find a way to turn on the heater for my children. When I chatted the host on how to do this, he responded okay. The host is also very rude and a liar. The room I was offered to stay with my kids and wife is room 1 but I rejected it and I had to get a hotel on another platform as booking.com could not provide one. It was a terrible experience for me and my family

I will never recommend the Lime House.
I will never recommend the Lime House. It was disgusting, smelling of cigarettes and all sorts. Alex said he was going to refund the money as we couldn't stay because at the place, still today not received that money. They rang me and asked me to remove the review so that they refund the money and I did remove it, but it turned out that they were liars, after removing the review ,they never answered my phone.
I'm disgusted with the Lime House with it's owners. Alex is a liar and thief. I believed him when he asked me to remove the review.
Oldham it's self is not too bad if it didn't have people like Alexander.

I left this town in 1966, sadly it has not blossomed since then.My return was to attend a funeral. The town has problems too big to deal with adequately. I like the people and the surroundings but have no real desire to find a reason to return

Oldham is such a beautiful place to visit, it's rolling hills n countryside are amazing especially as I'm from London I couldn't take my eyes off the 360° views 😍 with cows and sheep at most turns it's lovely to see,,the towns are great and have everything you can need, the local pubs and eateries, post office , a beautiful farm shop and brunch location was everything and made the trip amazing with the food and wines available,, will definitely be going back 😀
Spend time here whilst attending our Coldplay concert and knew Manchester itself would be busy. You can easily jump on a 181/182 bus to take you literally right to the front door of No. 10 Limehouse. On arrival we met the owner who promptly allocated our room and showed us round. General parking if you use the car is on street but there are more than enough places to park. There are convenience stores nearby and also a take away to enjoy in the evening. All in all we had a good time.
Loved the whole cottage! Very clean and we loved the hot tub. May have been the best hot tub we have been in. Only down fall is that we couldn't get to the front of the cottage to take photos of the place.
The bed was so so comfy. A nice little welcome when we arrived with prosecco and biscuits! Sadly no pen to write a lovely review in the guest book about our stay!
A 5 minute walk to the bus stop which took us directly to Manchester and other places.
lovely location for us, easy for us to drive into straight into Manchester and easy to get back on the motor way home! Free parking was a bonus! Also, the staff were very lovely! we got the breakfast included for free, lovely selection, latte was 10/10! cinnamon swirl got a raving review from my partner and she’s a hard one to please lol. boat and horses, we would stay again!
Comfortable room with everything we needed for our stay. Clean and comfortable with friendly and approachable staff and superb views over the countryside. The food was great with good portion size. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. We visited twice within a month and will definitely visit again should we need to travel to Manchester.
Easy to find location and centrally located to Oldham city center (15 minute walk to downtown Oldham). Host greeted me warmly and showed me around the home, then after assuring I was comfortable and settled in, she politely vanished to allow me privacy. The room is huge and comfortable, with a comfy chair and enough room to really feel at home.
Nothing, it was such a shady, smelly hotel, but people that I've known have had better experiences they did say its shady but they were only there to sleep so was bareable and they didn't have kids.
We enjoyed our stay. It was fairly close to Manchester City Centre. The staff was really knowledgeable and friendly. The room was clean and comfy. It was good value for money.
Property location great for exploring Manchester. 5 minutes walk from the tram station, and parking is available at the hotel. Lift to all floors, and staff were friendly.
