The check-in receptionist was outstanding, very polite, efficient and professional. Breakfast was great and the staff on top of everything, coffee was awesome. The hotel room was big, the bed comfy and lots of hot water. The hotel had a lovely smell in keeping with Christmas. Great television. A really welcome break from driving. Left feeling recharged and ready for my onward journey.

When we arrived we had been given an upgrade even though there was a very large wedding event taking place i cannot thank Vicky enough who helped a great deal. We did have dinner the previous night and the atmosphere food and overall experience was very nice! Katie was one of the standout help during our stay.

The only drawback is the lack of decent restaurants in the area if you are unable to book a meal at the hotel which we were not because of the lateness of our booking. The staff are quintessential “Yorkshire”,friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to be with. Needless to say I’m an “expat”. Well done everyone involved with the hotel.

Set on 20 acres of gardens and grounds in the beautiful Went Valley, Wentbridge House dates back to 1700. Since opening as a hotel in 1960, Wentbridge House has built an excellent reputation as one of the best hotels in West Yorkshire.
The hotel offers luxurious and unique rooms. The garden rooms are fully air conditioned with marble bathrooms and power showers.
