A thriving town with lots of independent shops to browse in,...
A thriving town with lots of independent shops to browse in, eateries & bars & the distillery. There are several museums & galleries. There are frequent drama productions. All the hotels were well signposted.
The scenery is superb with the River Tummel, lochside, woodland & mountain vistas.
Loch Faskally is absolutely stunning & Queens View is aptly named.
There are many walks available from Ben Vrackie 841m, to many waymarked walks in the forest parks. There is a great stroll down to the river & a nice park near the hotel.
Great for angling & cycling routes south of the river. The botany of the limestone outcrops is famous.

Lots of choices of restaurants / pubs.
Lots of choices of restaurants / pubs. Plenty of quaint shops on the high street. A good base for sightseeing. Short car journey from The House of Brewer. We stayed 1 night to break our journey up, so limited time to fully explore the area.

Always love walking along the river and crossing the dam.
Always love walking along the river and crossing the dam. We had more time this time, so walked down to the boats and enjoyed a lovely cuppa from the other side of the dam. There's a path that runs from the start of the dam (behind the car park) and around the side of the dam into a housing estate. Then walk down towards the Green Park Hotel.
You must take a trip to House of Bruar ! Fabulous shopping experience.

Plenty of eating out places with good atmosphere especially McKay’s and Old Mill
Hettie’s coffee and cakes were delicious
Disappointed Scotland Spa Hotel did not do evening meals on a Sunday or Monday which was not stated on our booking.
Also the receptionist had to leave her post to make up our room and top up loo roll as room /bed was not made up that day
The hotel is nicely located at the top of Pitlochry Main street. It is set back from the road and has its own good sized car-park. The rooms and interior look to have just been refurbished to a very high standard and the whole feel of the hotel was of a premium quality. The rooms were very well appointed with super soft carpet, lovely bathroom and a huge TV. Beds were firm but comfy.
Breakfast was excellent. It was a buffet style help yourself style but all food was good quality, hot and extremely good.
The Hotel is very clean, that applies to the rooms as well as the general facilities.
Breakfast was exceptional. The Restauarnt Staff was quick, very friendly, the food was always great.
The Lady at the reception was very friendly. At check-in, she recommended us the rooms based on our needs and showed them to us.
The location of the Hotel itself is very quiet, away form traffic. It is in the center of a small park. The view from the restaurant ist stunning.
Absolutely delightful B&B - perfectly clean, comfortable beds, really nice bathroom with good shower. The breakfasts were amazing in choices, preparation and presentation. The owners were excellent hosts providing a friendly and happy stay. We appreciated their recommendations for evening meals and local sights to see. Lovely home and well cared for grounds. Everything was perfect. We could walk into the charming town of Pitlochry.
I like the size of the single room with high ceilings. I liked the quietness, window curtains and I enjoyed the access to a swimming pool (wish its length could be longer), jacuzzi and sauna! The building is very old with its own character. Maybe the corridors look a bit 'scary', maybe some updating will help :) Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location to explore this little gem of Scotland! Thank you for a nice and peaceful stay :)
Everything was perfect. A great hotel with everything we needed, ran by lovely, friendly people who were very helpful.
There was a path in the garden that led down to the back of the main street, so it was ideally located.
The bedrooms were nicely furnished and the bathroom was clean with toiletries provided.
There was an excellent choice for breakfast.
I will be returning next time we come to Pitlochry.
We loved our stay at the Atholl Villa Guest House. James one of the owners is great to chat with, and he gave us a lot of tips around Scotland. This B&B is on the main street so easy to walk to all the shops, and we were offered the chance to park our car there for a few hours past check-out time which helped us explore Pitlochry. The breakfast was great and the room super comfortable.
Our host was exceptionally helpful and funny in a make-you-feel-welcome way. Our view was of the front garden, filled with daffodils at this late-March time. Breakfast was wonderful in the large sunroom (welcome after some grey Scottish days). Wife says the poached egg was perfection. An easy 3 block stroll to old central Pitlochry restaurants & the train station.
After being in Fishers hotel and it being filthy... 3 different rooms..me and my friend looked for other accommodation and came across the Acarsaid....was like night and day....had an amazing stay...spotlessly clean room..staff were very friendly..breakfast was lovely...would defo recommend and if I was to return to Pitlochry this is where I'd book 😊
The breakfast was delightful and on special order. The facility was very clean, neat, and nicely appointed. The bed comfortable. Since the builiding was on a hillside, the views terrific. The owners/staff very friendly and helpful. It was an excellent experience which we would gladly repeat if we get to Pitlochry again.
This was the best B&B on our week-long tour of Scotland! The room was gorgeous - comfortable bed, plenty of room, lots of electric sockets, great bathroom. Wonderful view of the gardens and Pitlochry, and so quiet, yet only a 2-minute walk down to the main street. Great breakfast too.
Beautiful apartment with great attention to detail. Lots of quirky decor items including a fairy door in the fireplace! Lovely surprise to find croissants, jams, milk and butter. Host was easy to contact and quick to respond. Highly recommended for central Pitlochry stay
Fishers hotel is located on the main street in Pitlochry, and very easy to find. It was also the pickup point for the Enchanted Forest experience, so was very convenient. The complimentary drink upon check-in was a nice touch.
Breakfast was great, great selection of food. Pool was lovely. Staff all very friendly, David on the door that met us as we arrived was very welcoming and gave us a tour. Hotel gorgeously decorated, room very clean.
The breakfast was very good ,plenty choice and tasty. The location of the hotel was a reasonable walk from the centre of Pitlochry up a steep hill but we enjoyed the quirky interior and the welcoming staff.
Excellent hotel grate location good atmosphere but though it was a bit expensive considering you can get a 4 or 5 star hotel with leisure facilities for cheaper
