It was the small attention to detail which made it so special, Such as the complimentary little caramel shortbreads and sherry left in the bedroom, the luxury sheets and the fact that Mark had pre filled the kettle! Breakfast was wonderful too!

Set within an historic country Manor House ideally sited for both Richmond and Barnard Castle. The grand manor boasts seven luxurious guest bedrooms all equipped with en-suite bathrooms and promise a refined luxury experience. Large Suites with roll top copper baths, four poster beds and garden views are available for that extra special feel.
We strive to exceed expectations by offering excellent quality accommodation in a grand and luxurious setting. We welcome visitors to The Manor to experience grand living at its finest.
Richmond is quaint traditional English Town with many local restaurants, cafes, shops and its own medieval Castle which is open to the public. There is also a stunning river running through the Town and river walks are an absolute pleasure. Richmond is mainly cobbled so you really get the feeling of a by gone era when you're visiting. It is extremely safe and peaceful here. We are located within 10 minutes of Bowes Museum, Eggleston Hall, The Yorkshire Dales and many other attractions including many of which are part of the National Trust. We're very happy to assist with local attractions and information on places to visit, we're happy to recommend and advise.
