Great central spot for golf and also countryside and coastal walks. Very quiet and well laid out for privacy with a lovely private courtyard garden. Well equipped. Everything has been thought of.

We loved our stay! The area was very quiet, and the patio was lovely — perfect for relaxing. This was the best-equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a rental, which made cooking a breeze. The host was also extremely responsive when we had a minor...

Lots of space for 5 adults, a toddler and a dog. Very well appointed. Lovely outdoor patio to enjoy the sunshine we were lucky to get.

Everything the property is amazing and so well equipped we wanted for nothing. The Christmas decorations were beautiful too. Gillian was fantastic and so helpful I think I’ve found a new Xmas tradition. Can’t wait to go back.

The cottage is set within private maintained estate in Angus (with tennis courts), perfectly placed for visiting Dundee, Angus, Perthshire, Edinburgh and Fife. Dogs welcome (rules and charges apply) Min renter age - 30 Cottage courtyard and garden are fully enclosed. Nearest pub and shops are 1 mile away. The peace and tranquillity at the cottage is a stark contrast to the streets of Dundee, yet only a few minutes away in the car. The placement of the cottage for exploring a large area of Scotland is second to none, with Angus, Fife and Perth literally on the doorstep. The walks, views and tennis courts in and around the private estate are fantastic. If you're looking for a party pad - this place is not for you. We will act on any antisociable disturbances, which could result in expulsion from the property with no refund on unspent nights. Dogs must not be left unattended at the property or cottage grounds or become a nuisance to neighbouring properties. Up to 2 dogs (costs apply). Non adherence to any of the rules, will result in expulsion from the property.
We live and work from home in Aberdeen, Scotland and have 2 grown up sons. Bud and Izzy - our doodles, also lives with us and frequently comes with us to the cottage. We spend a large degree of our time travelling to Dundee for work and visiting family. We love the city and surrounding areas and the activities on offer. With the recently opened V&A Museum and refurbishment of the waterfront area, there is a real buzz around Dundee. The restaurants are really coming into their own and the different cuisines on offer, provide exceptional variations in choice.
The area (Dundee): Situated on the Tay Estuary, Dundee is Scotland's sunniest city. The city has plenty of places to see and visit, whether you are looking for a family day out, visit one of the annual events, or want to learn more about the city's history, with its monuments and landmarks, its maritime heritage, the arrival of jute or the city's new scientific and design excellence. The V&A Museum of Design is a centre for design adds further acclaim to the citys culture portfolio. RRS Discovery is moored at Discovery Point in Dundee (next to the V&A) and open for visitor tours. Built in the city in 1900, RRS Discovery was the ship, which carried Captain Scott on his first expedition across the Antarctic. There is no better way to see the city and its wildlife than taking a trip along the famous River Tay. Numerous tour operators offer trips from March to September. Bottlenose dolphins and seals are regular visitors to the estuary. The beaches and fishing villages of Fife and the North East are within an easy reaching distance, with Edinburgh a 50 minutes drive for a day trip. Golf, fishing, cycling and walking are all popular activities in this fantastic part of Scotland
