  • Is parking at the hotel and is it free

    We have a car park at the front for 7 cars based on a first come first served basis , this carpark is free however if the car park was full you would need to purchase a permit which costs 1 pound for 2 days parking in the disc zone across the street. kind regards Wheeldale.

  • You say you have a bar? Is it a full bar or are you allowed to bring your own alcohol? Can you also tell me what size bed you have in the bedroom with the bay window. Thank you.

    Hello we have a self service fridge with alcohol in the guest lounge and a coffee machine so you can sit and enjoy a coffee or wine in the guest lounge while looking out to sea , The bed in room 3 (bay window room ) is a 5 foot bed. Thank you

  • hi, stayed with you for 3 nights in June 2019, resort is fully booked for the the 29th and 30th August, we are sharing a apartment with 2 other couples this coming weekend, the main problem is parking, we need to park up for max 2 nights, would we be able to pay you for a 2 day parking pass?. RH

    No sorry we cannot do that.We can only give permits for people actually staying at the Wheeldale.I suggest you use pay and dispaly or ring scarbrough borough council for further advice.

  • am disabled can manage a few stairs, prefer ground or first floor, is there any where I can charge my scooter or run cable to my car

    We do have a ground floor room with just a few steps into the building to contend with.In the past we have been able to charge scooters for guests but we have do not have anywhere indoors to store them.

Hello i am the new Director Toby and look forward to welcoming you in our guesthouse. It is a family run buisness which we have made constant improvements of over the last 16 years. We live on the premises, and also have 2 cats which sit in the guest lounge.

Property info

Guest house built in 1928, with various size rooms. Which is currently ran as a family buisness with a team of staff. Our brekafast's are of very high quality using only locally sourced ingredients from our local butchers Fords of Glaisdale. Also we have Sky Tv in every guest room.

Neighborhood info

We are situated on the westciff which is 0.4 miles from the spa pavillion, 0.5 miles away from the whale bones, and 0.3 miles away from the beach which is a lovely walk down the gradient path looking down onto the pier. We are a 15 minute walk into whitby town.
