Our dinner in the attached restaurant was very tasty with a couple good pints as well. Built in 1470 the inn is quite quirky which is always fun. It's very close to the center and perfect for parking your car and heading out to see the lovely town. It had a very nice shower.

Location wise the hotel is near the historic centre of St Albans very close to the Cathedral. The hotel room was large with all facilities however the hotel itself is fairly run down and the pub area needs renovation. That said would stay again but be aware of the issues with the car park if using.

    Hi there, we have free parking for residents up until 12pm the day of checkout, unfortunately we are unable to reserve or guarantee parking spaces. There are normally plentiful spaces available, however, London road car park is only a short walk away

  • Hello, do you allow a dog to stay if we are booking for three nights in July? Friendly Cocker Spaniel.
