Architect designed modernist villa, set in 10 acres of Sussex woodland and gardens. White Lodge offers luxurious accommodation, great local food and good company. Ten minutes from Lewes and 15 min from Glyndebourne Opera or enjoy many NT properties.
Having project managed our house refurbishment in 2014. I now look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy our beautiful home in rural East Sussex. A passion for baking and home cooked good food should make for tasty breakfasts.
White Lodge is set in a secluded rural location, surrounded by woodland and open countryside. There are many pretty walks and some excellent local pubs within 2 or 3 miles. Lewes is the county town of East Sussex and boasts some lovely independent shops, Harvey's Brewery, The Pells Pool (the oldest documented freshwater outdoor public swimming pool in the UK), its own beautiful castle, Anne of Cleaves House, numerous great pubs and a selection of good restaurants. We are well placed for Glyndebourne Opera, Charleston, The Ashdown Forest, the Bluebell Railway, Local Vineyards, the South Downs National Park, National Trust properties, Brighton and the Coast. There are good rail links to London within 15 minutes drive and Gatwick International Airport is just 40 minutes by car.
