Great. This has to be possibly the best family seaside holiday destination . So many other seaside resorts have sadly gone downhill ,but not so Weston the beach and promenade are a real credit to the local council, its services and employees.
Weston super mare has everything a family could want for a great holiday experience.

I was on a walking holiday and was using Weston as my base. If you enjoy walking then the walk from Weston to Uphill and then through the nature reserve to Brean. Down onto the beach at Brean and you can walk through to Burnham on Sea. Lovely walk. The nature reserve is well worth a visit. Lots of wildlife and plenty of space for a picnic. There is also a cafe and toilets there. Uphill is a pretty little village.

The museum is worth a visit, with a wealth of interesting exhibits about the town. Also, the architecture is amazing, with wonderful Georgian/Regency terraces. I would say it beats Bath, without the throngs of tourists and prices. Pity about the bus service, with many not running on a Sunday. I wanted to have a look at Clevedon.

This town has a theatre the Playhouse with lots of shows music venues ecc. There are some nice walks to do along the beach or you can take many buses and reach the villages near by and walk back to town. A lot of choice for restaurant of any type from Italian (i have not tried but I would suggest Michelangelo) to Indian Fusion Thai cinese Brasilian ecc there is the Grand Pier too. I had a nice hallumi burger at The Barn but there is also a good fish and chips serving veg food opposte the Grand Pier. For people that have to fly like me it is somewhat cheaper to stay here than in Bristol and you can either take a taxi or a bus every hour even at night

The hotel has a prime location on the seafront, as it is above and part of the Wetherspoons group food is available at very reasonable prices as with the drinks. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Any issues dealt with in a timely manner.
Parking in weston is a premium but there is a quiet long stay carpark within a 5 minute stroll. Payment can be made at either the machine or by the miipermit app. £6 for 24 hours or £30 for a week. Eggs benedict for breakfast was stunning with perfect poached eggs.
The location is great for walking to the beach, restaurants, bars, and other attractions in Weston-super-Mare. The staff is very nice, and the proprietor even got up early on our last morning to fix us breakfast before we left for the airport. Breakfast each morning was based on our personal requests and was fresh and tasty.
This is a place I would like to recommend and return to if I visit Weston-super-Mare again. The proprietors just need to be more attentive to cleanliness.
Our (very large) sea view room had spectacular beach views that made our three night stay exceptional. The staff were friendly and kind. The hotel has character - as an old building it's amazing architecture stands out on an otherwise dull stretch of seafront buildings. It was a privilege to stay in this slightly crumbling, gothic hotel and imagine how it had been in the past.
The hotel is in a great location near the seafront and there is plenty of parking. The facilities for my elderly mother with mobility issues were really good. She was able to charge her mobility scooter in the bar area when not in use.The bar is nice and good value. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was really good. Freshly cooked and nice and hot.
Very helpful and courteous staff who were always on hand if needed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the public rooms were well furnished and welcoming. Breakfast was good and the hotel is in walking distance of the shops, the seafront and other amenities. Free parking was available both off and on road. Should we return to Weston we would book again.
The Royal Hotel is a classic British Seaside Hotel, right on the seafront, great views, close to restaurants, bars etc. but far enough away to be quiet It was clean and tidy, great food, great selection at the many bars. The staff were hard working, helpful and friendly. It is a truest beautiful building with so much character. loved it.
An impressive looking hotel from the outside and situated on the seafront. A great location, just a short walk to the beach or town centre. Our room had great views of the full length of the beach and the hotel's communal areas, such as the dining room and bar, were very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Right on the seafront and easy access to everything. Car park a short distance walk.
The staff are superb, especially the guys and girls in the restaurant. Exceptional service with a chat and a smile. Completely catered for my partners dietary requirements. Hotel and room were clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely size room
Comfortable bed
Only problem breakfast was cold even tho a buffet and was first in the room before it came out bacon still looked raw.....
II would stay aging but not with my children as we was woken up 3 times during the night with druken hotel guest.
Superb Hotel, high quality furnishings and decor, spotlessly clean and quiet, spacious car parking, short walk to the seafront, excellent choice of breakfast and very well cooked.
Last but not least ; lovely hosts and staff .
I got 2 fairly good nights' sleep with no disturbance from other guests etc and the bed was comfortable. Had an unexpected view of Weston seafront, I thought I would be at the back of the hotel so that was a plus also.
Hotel was lovely, old but really clean and the staff were really helpful. Breakfast was good too - lots of variety and the self service was really well thought out in terms of keeping people covid safe.
On arrival we were given a choice of rooms. The breakfasts were good using good quality products . Andrew & the staff were all very helpful. we would definitely recommend this Hotel.
Location was good. Central and close to seafront but quiet for good night's sleep. Facilities were clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this property instead of Premier Inn.
