Stunning location, sitting on the terrace overlooking the lake was amazing, a little disappointed in the "Lake View" from our room, we had booked a lake view room, unfortunately with the wall outside the room and the blind in the room this made the lake view difficult to see, this however did not detract from the overall stay. The breakfast is very good, plentiful and a good variety of hot and cold options. Good on site parking is available. Hotel in general is very quite and even though there was a big awards evening going on in the function room we did not hear any noise. Staff were great, pleasant, helpful and polite.

The Ro Hotel is a new hotel in the heart of Bowness-on Windermere. More than just a hotel, we are an all-day destination for tourists and locals, a place that you can go with friends for a coffee or lunch with the family after a trip to Beatrix Potter World. A place that is unexpected in its design but familiar in its northern service. Somewhere connected to the town, people, a hub or local culture and a showcase for its arts from yesterday, today and tomorrow. The Lake District is our place. We love it here. The way strangers say hello to each other on their morning walks. The incredible landscape that takes your breath away, no matter if you are seeing it for the first time or the millionth. As a dog friendly hotel, we would like to make you aware that there are only 10 pet friendly rooms in our property. Mixture of Standard Double Rooms and Deluxe King Rooms only. All of the pet friendly rooms are allocated on a ground floor. Limited availability. Please contact hotel directly to check the availability.
