The location was exactly what we was looking for and will 100% be booking again. Surrounded by streams, wood blocks and wildlife.
United KingdomStayed in the smallest self-contained apartment on this site which is an old mill. Grounds were lovely. There is a hot tub with dressing gowns and towels supplied. Best of all is the location as it is just below Parlick Fell. Just walk out of the front door for fabulous days out in the Forest of Bowland. Very comfortable studio apartment, with resident's lounge area, outdoor seating and WIFI. Would go again.

I got to spend a precious few days with 2 of my grown up sons & their partners and this place was just perfect for it. The owners were accommodating and flexible. Thank you for the best stay 🙂

We loved the fire and the cosiness of the apartment. The grounds and the pond are fabulous and we hope to return in the summer when we can enjoy evenings sitting there. Likewise with the courtyard and the tables which is a great outside space. Bed and duvet were very comfortable and plenty of storage space in bedroom and bathroom. Huge TV and access to different channels was welcome. Hosts were very welcoming, pro-active and provided lots of information. We loved the village of Chipping and its people who made us feel very at home.

Wolfen Mill is an amazing 350 year old property, its beautifully restored and its location at the foot of the fells is just so charming. We are located in a wooded valley which has Chipping Brook bubbling by, the beech tree woods have a carpet of blue bells in the spring time. We have 9 self catering holiday properties at Wolfen Mill. Each is unique and each is fully equipped with its own kitchen including dishwasher fridge oven hob and inventory for you. The property has its own lake and views of the fells to the rear and in addition has a guest lounge which overlooks the lake. Dogs are allowed in the ground floor properties only, Millers Den, The Saddlery, Bowland Bower and Courtyard Cottage subject to prior consent.
We love the area of the Forest of Bowland and love the many walks from the door of Wolfen Mill
If you like peace and quiet, a place to get away from it all then you'll love Wolfen Mill. It's set in beautiful countryside with the quaint little village of Chipping being just 1 mile away. Local country walks from your door and lots of great places to drink & dine very close by. Give yourselves a break.
