Terrific value as can be seen below: 5th (top) floor with lift. New boiler installed June 2018 2 carpeted double bedrooms, 2 bathroom modern apartment with fantastic views of The Shard and Canary Wharf, offering over 700 sq ft of living space. Additional sleeping provided on 2 large `click clack' sofa beds (quicker to assemble than pull out types). Modern, fitted Smeg kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. Anti allergy bedding and Egyptian cotton sheets used throughout. Towels provided. Complimentary toiletries. Gas central heating. Fully double glazed. Special offer - free essentials welcome pack for the weary traveller with every booking - milk, bread, margarine, tea, coffee, sugar, pasta and sauce, biscuits. Cleaning costs included in the booking. Great value when many others charge for this service. Secure underground car parking for 1 car. Quiet residential tree lined estate. Local late night supermarket on the estate. Just a short 4 minute walk to East India Dock DLR station. 2 minute walk to the Thames River with stunning views of the O2. My wife Jeanie is a retired primary school Teacher. We have 2 daughters, one working in the hospitality trade and the other studying a degree in Marine Biology. Welcome to London's Calling apartment from all of us.
Situated in a quiet residential area but perfectly connected to all major amenities of London via a very short walk to the DLR tube station. The estate the apartment is on is very secure with a dedicated concierge facility with CCTV. It is nicely landscaped and the apartment benefits from underground parking, secured with electronic gates. You can discover our local nature reserve & walk to the historic art centre, Trinity Buoy Wharf, with a variety of shops, cafes & tourist attractions. A walk in the opposite direction and you will find some trendy bars and restaurants. The O2 Arena and the ExCel Exhibition centre are both 15 mins away. The neighbourhood is diverse, where tourists, commuters and trendy locals all live, work and play. Of notable interest is the granite plinthed memorial at the rivers edge within the estate grounds that marks the nearby site where, on December 19, 1606, three small ships laden with supplies and 105 “adventurers” set off on a journey west.
