A warm welcoming Bed & Breakfast in a large Victorian House, situated close to the City Centre. Built in 1881, Superbly decorated with matching wallcoverings and soft furnishings, retaining character for its period. All 4 rooms have attached bathroom en-suites. Rooms also includes free WIFI, extensive beverage tray, Smart TVs. Cosy beds, crisp white linen, scrumptious Duvets, toiletries, Bathrobes. Free off road parking for 3 cars plus 'on road' free parking (permit required). Our award winning breakfasts include Full English or Vegetarian with locally sourced ingredients where possible, like, our Chipolatas and free range eggs, also smoked salmon & scrambled eggs, kippers, pancakes as well as a large choice of fresh fruit, cereals, toast, croissants and pains au chocolate. Suzanne's homemade granola, yogurt, marmalade & local jams are also worth a taste. Special diets also catered for. Lovely walled patio garden for sitting, relaxing in at all times. With 4 rooms in total, we have 3 Doubles, (one can be a Twin) & 1 large Single. Whether on business or pleasure, this property is in a great location.
Suzanne has run this very successful business for over 23 years, living here with her now older teenage children. Having received some wonderful feedback and reviews from our guests, also maintaining a high profile on TripAdvisor & gaining the Service Excellence award each year. We have received many awards locally and nationally in past years for Service Excellence and Breakfasts. We continue to upgrade & aspire on keeping a very high standard with continually renovating the house, rooms and bathrooms. Our main aim is to maintain a high level in Customer Service, Standards & cleanliness, Welcoming both new and return visitors & helping to make their stay here a memorable one & with help and guidance in the local area and beyond.
Only 8 minutes walk to the City Centre itself & 15 minute to the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral & Museums in the stunning Cathedral Close. City centre markets, extensive range of Coffee shops, pubs and restaurants are just a short walk away. Stonehenge is also just a small journey by car (15 minutes) or if you are on foot, The Stonehenge bus tour runs on a regular basis also. We have a great Christmas market, regular Charter Markets and also Vintage, french, Italian and teenage markets to name but a few. There is also The Playhouse theatre, City Hall for live music and the Arts Centre and Cinema. All within walking distance. If you wish to discover outside of the city, there is Old Sarum, The City of Bath & the Roman baths, The Salisbury Racecourse, The beautiful gardens at Stourhead, Gold Hill at Shaftesbury, the New forest, Bournemouth stunning beaches, Portsmouth Historic dockyards, Shopping in Southampton & Winchester Cathedral & City are just a few places to visit. There are very good train and bus links to many.
