Breakfast was very good, Room was excellent, Dinner was not available as the restaurant was closed ! Check in lady suggested a local pub/Restaurant (the Stables) which was absolutely excellent. All Staff were excellent and far exceeded our expectations.

Stayed for 2 nights on the way to Scotland. Beautiful building with high ceilings and furnishings in luxurious fabrics. Our room was comfortable, very clean and large (would have been nice to have a small fridge). The terrace is beautiful, a glass of wine watching the wildlife on the lake was very relaxing. Breakfast was good, evening meal a little disappointing but I think menu was reduced due to COVID. Biggest disappointment you can’t use the spa unless you want to pay a £15 per person per hour supplement, would have been really nice to use especially as it wasn’t a cheap room.

Beautiful, view from the terrace was extraordinary. The bedroom was traditional but with modern twists. The bedroom had lots of plug sockets and the added extras of biscuits, crisps, variety of tea and coffee was excellent. The bed was two singles zipped together which for a couple On a mini moon was bit uncomfortable.

    The spa is open 10am - 6.30pm, you can use the spa before checking in if there is availability that you contact the spa directly.
