Everything was great, and we loved all the little personal touches- getting into cosy fluffy dressing gowns after a long cycle ride with a Netflix film was just what we needed! A well equipped self-catering place ideally located on the National cycle route 1 with super friendly hosts and such good value! Would definitely recommend and hopefully we’ll be back soon!

It wasn't advertised as a b&b but there were cereal, milk and bottled water available as well as a kettle and teas and coffees. A separate kitchen had all you need to cook a meal: pots and pans, cutlery, a hob and a microwave. There is a toaster and a fridge. The place is freshly redecorated and very clean. Toiletries, a bath robe and slippers were a welcome addition. The room is furnished in a rustic style and the bed is very comfortable with snow-white linen. The wi-fi was a bit patchy but that was probably a plus for me as well as the absence of a tv. The area is stunning with a river, an old bridge and lovely walks in all directions. The road is very quiet and very few cars passed the place during the night. A lovely place to stay. I would definitely come back.
