Excellent location for hiking on South Downs or in local area. Pretty village. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast that is included in price is delcious with interesting choices. Option to add on cooked breakfast but was unnescessary. Dinner in the pub was outstanding. Flavours, ingredients, presentation and service. Room looked fine, had all expected ammenties and was an OK size (as would be expected, errs on small). Felt very comfortable with their handling of Covid procedures. Would happily return.

  • Hi, Do your double rooms have a bath - or just the walk-in shower?

    The standard double rooms have walk-in showers. The Superior rooms have baths with showers above.

    We do have a car park around the back of the pub which is enclosed, although the gate is not locked overnight. Many thanks.

  • Are dogs allowed? (Just one small well behaved dog please?)

    We allow dogs in our standard rooms and in the bar area. We do have a pet charge to cover additional cleaning.

  • Do you have a room with a walk in shower

    Our two standard double rooms and standard twin room have a shower cubicle which has a step up into it, we do not have a room with a wet room. Our two superior rooms have a bath with shower overhead. Many thanks
