I got the room at a very good rate. I unexpectedly booked in early and the reception staff were flexible and upgraded me to a better room which was on the ground floor. I loved the size of the room, the location of the hotel (literally by the Chancery lane bus stop) and the flexibility of the staff. Despite being in central London and the room being on the ground floor near reception, the room was very quiet and I was able to have a sound nights sleep. The good location also meant that when I went out in London late on Friday night, I was easily able to find the hotel.

Everything was great, however, the AC was not working, which I was aware could happen due to previous comments on the hotel. This was not a problem for me though, as it wasn't particularly warm and both windows could be open. I was also offered a fan if that would be necessary. They also upgraded me to a better room for free, which was a pleasant surprise.

  • What’s the difference between the family double room and the family superior room?

    The Family double room have 2 double bunked beds and is very compact. The Superior family room have 2 queen bunked beds and some extra space but still the Z compact design.
