Georgia and her team worked hard to make this a great stay. The Amorgion Hotel has a relaxed and laid back approach to its visitors, allowing them a great degree of freedom to come and go. the team are always there to support and help but never intrusive. Perfect place for couples, honeymooners and older visitors as the facilities are more suited for these travellers, families with small kids would find it more difficult. Loved our stay, its proximity to some great restaurants and the pick up from the ferry. You will need to rent a car to make the most of staying here
United KingdomWe had an amazing stay at Amorgion hotel. The hotel is very nice, well located (close to Katapola but calm). Our room was comfortable. We were lucky we were upgraded, thanks again! Staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is very good (lots of choice, all homemade). Definitely recommend this place and hope to be back soon!!
FranceGreat location within 10mins walk to the port of Katapola. We also hiked into the Chora, this was a lovely hike and took about 50 mins. Maltezi beach is also lovely, about 30 minute walk but just ask for clear directions as the path is a little misleading. Breakfast was really lovely and worth the €8. The girls at reception are so lovely too. The pool is very nice with a great view too.
IrelandThis hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Amorgos. The hotel is placed in an amazing location, just 15 minutes walk from the port of Katapola (however quite dark at night!) We saw many amazing sunsets in the evenings and lots of stars at night! The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure the overall experience exceeded our expectations - the staff even provided a free transfer to and from the port of Katapola with our luggage. The rooms are very clean, spacious and the beds are really comfy - my girlfriend had the best sleep of the whole trip! Each room also has a very spacious balcony area which is nice to spend some time in the evenings. The breakfast was incredible and absolutely worth the 8 euros/day extra charge - I would 100 per cent recommend getting the breakfast!

United KingdomFantastic location with only a 10 min walk to the port and many restaurants. A free transfer was provided both from and to the port. The hotel is in an elevated position and has beautiful views to the sea. The room was spacious with comfortable large beds and a balcony overlooking the pool and to the sea. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Although breakfast was optional it was worth it with a wide selection of sweet and savoury choices. Don't miss the orange cake! The path to Chora starts outside the gates of the hotel. Although marked as difficult it is not particularly taxing. Takes about 50 mins with reasonable fitness and the views are well worth the trip. We would recommend eating at Youkali in Katapola.
