Architecturally stunning - it's a wonderful combination of artistry and comfort. The design incorporates both - visually stunning and extremely functional. Also, it's amazingly spacious with lots of storage, comfortable seating and a large screen tv - just in case you aren't out until 2am! And despite being centrally located, it was very quiet, we slept so peacefully. The beds and bedding are divine which adds to a good night's sleep. In the morning, breakfast is definitely a highlight - freshly squeezed orange juice, excellent omelets, warm croissants.... all served on your private balcony complete with a gorgeous view of the caldera! And to top it off - Nektar is the ultimate host. Very informative, very helpful in arranging taxi or car rental services, and very personable. I can't imagine a better stay!

Nektar and Athina (the owners) treated us like family. Felt at home, even though we were very far from home. Had a blast and slept soundly in the Cave-style rooms. Breakfast and sunsets on the patio were a highlight of our trip! So amazing. Right in the middle of it all but felt private and quiet at the same time.

This hotel is our favorite on the whole trip! It has amazing views - right on the rocks overlooking the sea and volcanic islands. The host - Nektar is the best host I’ve ever had! How does this man manage to do everything, I have no idea! He is always there when you need him, working until 3am. He welcomed us by the main church near the hotel. Helped us carry our suitcases( and we had a lot) down the stairs. Then we walked into the room (and I was in love with the design inside). He shared the story of the building - fascinating. Ask him about that :) The breakfast was sooooooo delicious! He was able to prepare everything up to our demand (and we are very picky). I would go back 1000000000000% Nektar even helped my boyfriend find a part for his camera tripod. He went to the store nearby and searched for bolts and found just the right one! I couldn’t believe how above and beyond he went to make us feel satisfied. If you are lucky to find his hotel available - don’t hesitate to book!

Everything was more than wonderful! First, my arrival was delayed by a few days due to a Ferry strike. Angel was very responsive and nice in working w me to change my reservation days! Once I arrived, I found the location to be perfect, view gorgeous, host SOOO great, food beyond delicious. All the great reviews before mine had given me high expectations, and Angel exceeded those! This is the first all 10 I have given in all of my reviews. I am already planning to be back again soon!
