A charming small guesthouse located in the old part of Napflio, within easy walking distance of the town's main attractions (fortress, castle, harbour). The owner was helpful and friendly and speaks fluent English. Our room was cosy, furnished in late nineteenth-century style, looking out on to a tiny square with church and quiet at night. It was clean, and much attention had been given to the needs and comfort of visitors. Described as small, it nevertheless contained a table and chairs, useful for working at a computer. The dresser contained a tea service and sachets of various types of teas and the bathroom ACTUALLY HAD HOOKS allowing users to hang up towels and clothes!

Located in the heart of Nafplio's Old Town, this charming traditional guesthouse lies within a short walk from the sea. Nafplio's main bus station is a few minutes' walk away and you can park in a free public car park nearby.

The family-run Atheaton offers air-conditioned room, fitted with iron beds and decorated in warm colours. Free WiFi access is available in all rooms. A bathroom with a shower and hairdryer comes standard.
The Atheaton is set between traditional houses, restaurants and shops and the hotel owners offer advice on places to eat and drink. Saint Spyridon Church is round the corner, while Syntagma Square is 150 yards away.

The traditional Atheaton Guesthouse is located in the ideal place for every guest, as you can visit and explore the wonderful archeological sites of Argolida and the Peloponnese, while you have an excellent base to return to. Based on your needs, we restored a neoclassical and preserved building of unique architecture and developed our own small family business, to make the stay of each visitor in Nafplio, a unique and unforgettable experience. In the heart of the old town and very close to all the historical monuments of Nafplio, is the traditional guest house Atheaton, between the magnificent buildings and the narrow alleys.
Atheaton Guesthouse was created by our family a few years ago and is supported by us until today.
Atheaton Guesthouse is located in the historic center of the old city, in the square of Agios Spyridon, where the first governor of Greece, Ioannis Kapodistrias, was killed. Just 20 meters away is the Catholic Church. Within walking distance is the first parliament of the Greeks, the Parliament, the Archaeological Museum, the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation and the War Museum. At the same time, at a distance of just 5-10 minutes, also on foot is the beach of Arvanitia.
