Limenaria is a terribly crowded locality. I recommend it to those who do not go on vacation for rest. If you have a week off and you want to enjoy the sea, but also to rest after a whole year of work, Limenaria is not what you need.

The view from there is breathtaking but the drive in is not for the faint hearted. We were really pleased to have local residents lead us up there. Small town in the south of Thassos with plenty of tavernas and bars by the beach, I could advice the Navagio bar on the beach at night for wonderful cocktails and scenery. Busy town at times but generally quiet, more family oriented. Mainly Balkan and Greek tourism. Great place in the south, which has the nicest beaches, with sea amenities to use a base to visit this wonderful underrated island. AC did a perfect job (i saw somen comments here saying that there were some problems, but i think it was befere they renovated). only a few minutes walk to the beach and most shops. they have delonghi nespresso coffee machines (with capsules), so good coffee in the morning!
